Abby- There are many possible alternatives to red meat . Vegetarian meat contains a lot of soy, and that's not good for gliders as far as I know . Try tofu mixed with lowfat yogurt, or crickets and mealworms ( if your glider will eat them), or you can get earthworms from a local bait shop, or dig your own ( make sure the area is free of pesticides, though) . And if you're squeamish about bugs, try canned chicken or fish . I hope this helps!
