I'm not sure what size wire is best, I can only fit my finger halfway through before
it gets stuck. It seems fine. Although, I had to put a finer gauge on the outside of the cage
because a mouse kept getting in! One of my gliders was petrified, and my little glider
either wanted to play with the mouse or eat it when it got in.
