My first glider, Milo, drown in the bathtub over Easter weekend, it was devistating to me so I know how you feel right now. I do have a new glider, Gizmo, and even though he could never take the place of Milo, he is still very very special, very different from Milo. I love Gizmo just as much as I loved Milo. I am telling you this story just in case you are questioning weather or not you should get another pet. When I got Gizmo it really filled a void that would not go away, it was very healing. When I told this board about Milo's death, I received some very kind messages that helped me feel a little better, so I hope this helps you, at least a little bit. Gliders are such unique pets that require a lot of love and give just as much back in return, and you are obviously a very loving person that did everything you were supposed to do to ensure your gliders safety while you were away. Your loved one will always hold a special place in your heart. Consider getting a new glider, not as a replacement, but as a new companion that will help heal your sorrow.

if i were id go straight to your glidersitter house and start talking about "Bitch why cant you chop some bite size fruit for them" Thats what I do everyone should I dont fuck around when It comes to my gliders. When you 100 somthin dollars for a exotic pet you dont dick around you got to make them sitters know what the hells going and what going to done cause once there gone there gone. right!??
I feel for you, If someone was whacthing my gliders and some bullshit like went down Id be devestated.
So this i would suggested go over to the sitter and get the money to replace the glider. It my sound domb, but you probally had them for a while then a sitter shows and the glider drops dead come on now! That sitter had a responsability and screwed up thats his bad not yours.
Any wayz im really sorry about tragic loss and I you can get a new glider soon I know where comin from.
