Just a suggestion, have you tried putting something in their pouch that smells like you? When I got mine, I used t-shirts that I had slept in.At first I had an old one that I had slept in for two days.I put the entire thing in their cage and they slept in it sometimes. Then I cut it up and put pieces of it in their pouches.Make sure you don't have any perfume on either, just that the shirt smells like you.As for the crabs, when mine crab at me, I never let them get off that easy. Usually, I'll be by the cage talking to them, and I gently put my hand in and pet them (I'm a total nut, usually saying WHO's doing those crabs?). I have been very lucky with mine. I've had them 10 months and have only really been nailed by a bite once, but I think the scent thing is a big issue.Have patience and good luck.

: Like I said, be patient, keep trying, don't stick hand in pouch. Think a second, you're sleeping in your nice warm bed when someone reaches in and touches you......you come out screaming, scared to death, right? I don't know what kind of pouch you have right now, but your best bet is soft cloth one, so you can turn them inside out if necessary. I have found my gliders are much less defensive (offensive, however you see them) if they aren't inside the pouch. Don't startle them.....and don't put your hand inside their sleeping space, aka their pouch. They try to defend it. Once you get them outside the pouch, they generally are much more cooperative.
