Have your tried pudding yet? You put some pudding (or a favorite not often given treat) in your finger tips so that it must be licked off. Usually this works within a day or two.
Good luck. Btw- my gliders love a dab of vanilla pudding on my fingers and will lick and lick and lick until it makes me giggle.
