You have witnessed the begining of the birthing process of the joey going into the pouch.. the next time you see her on the side of the cage you will either notice 1 or 2 lumps in the pouch area. From then on it will either be 52 to 62 days for then to come oop (out of pouch) becareful that you don't knock the joey off the nipple, for they will not be able to reattach themselves...
