: I am about to purchase a 5-month old male sugar glider. I was wondering if he is to old to start a good relationship. Also, I heard that it is best to feed them when they wake up which is at nightfall, but i pretty much work from 5-9 every night. would it be ok if i took him to work with me and fed him. Finally, what are some good bonding things to do with him. Thanks for all the help,

: Toby

if you work 5-9pm then he will be fine. i don't feed my glider until 10:30pm, which is about when he wakes up and starts moving around. as soon as i open his cage to put his food in, he jumps on my arm and runs to his food bowl.
check out my web site for some other helpful information on diet, bonding, etc.
hope this helps,
Bell
