: All gliders make a sneezing sound and it is generally when they are grooming themselves. It is not an indication of a cold. Now if the sneezing sound is accompanied by a runny nose and watery eyes you then have something to worry about. If this should occur don't waste time but get him to a vet ASAP. As for how much they eat this varies from glider to glider but they are such small animals that it doesn't take much for them. He sounds healthy and active enough so I wouldn't worry about the amount that he is eating. Should he stop eating and become lethargic you then have a problem. Enjoy him,,,it sounds as though things are really going well for the two of you.

OK, thanks. He doesn't have a runny nose so I'll assume he's OK. Now that you mention it, he only makes that noise while grooming. And he is eating, just not as much as the books I have would suggest. Now that he is warming up to me, I have to get him used to my Fiance. So far he takes that offensive stance, crabbs and hisses at her. Once I put him on her, he seems ok with it. He just gets still and slows down a bit...
Thanks again....
