: I have had my male glider for a little over a year now.
: I recently bought a baby female to keep him company. She
: is really young and every time I let him get near her he
: attacks her. I mean really attacks her! I currently have
: them in separate cages, but I really want to keep them
: together. What can I do to get him to accept her? I am
: afraid to let him near her because he might kill her! Their
: cages are side by side and not even a foot apart. They have
: been this way for over a month, but he still tries to attack
: her through her cage when he is out of his cage. Please help
: because I really want them to be friends and this is breaking my
: heart!!!
: Thanks

You can try switching cages, put him into hers and her into his now and then. You can also try switching their beds. This will help him get use to her scent and her presence. Keep their cages near each other but far enough apart that they can not reach each others tails. Try introducing them in a neutral area such as the bathroom or a large closet. This will give them lots of room to run from each other if necessary and the neutrality may slightly intimidate him and make her a little more comfortable. Best of Luck
