Actually if I had a job like that, it wouldn't be a problem.. However as with american Express card there are some places you don't take it. like in the swimming pool, taking showers, etc. I don't take mine to work because of the danger of her getting hurt, My job requires sometimes heavy lifting of objects and she make inadvertently get hurt. I did however have a job on the river where she was with me all day long. The places I don't take her are like late parties, the movies, concerts. I usually don't take her out after 10:30 at night. and work but my job I sometimes work a couple hours, sometimes all day, she stays home till then, when we all get home the glider pouch starts to empty. We do take them to restaurants, stores, malls, friends homes, etc. I have even taken mine on a boat, and had her with me while working in the yard. She is very very bonded to me and she is also very docile, My husbands glider is rather neurotic sometimes, so if he is working in the yard he will put Smokey back to bed. The more time you spend with them during the day and evening the tighter the bond will be. I always say daytime is bonding time, night time is play time. There are leashes available but I am one, who don't advocate the use of them. I always suggest using their pouch as a training pouch pinned to the inside of a button down cover shirt. that way if they do come out of the pocket they can go right into their pouch. You said you don't think you could do this daily. what is it that bothers you so? does your glider come out often? Is there something that startles it? Are you doing the two shirt thing without a pouch or pocket for them to climb into?
