: My gliders have extremely long nails and Ive looked around
: every where to find somone who cuts gliders nails! No luck yet! Thi swouldnt be such a problem but I have a glider that is very tempormental ( a nice one too) and I have no clue how to cut thier nails. Any suggestions? Please.

I use baby nail clippers and I clip their nails in the afternoon while they are sleepy. I put them into a pouch so that they can hide their heads while I am trimming their nails. I take out one foot at a time and place the bottom of the nail along the top of the bottom blade of the clippers. I slide the nail over the blade towards the tip of the nail until the nail tip hangs on the edge of the blade, then I clip removing only the tip of the nail. If the nail does not catch on the blade then it does not need to be trimmed. I have never cut a nail too short using this method, but if you do and it bleeds then you can pack the bleeding tip with a steptic pencil or flour or even baking soda.
