Aaron,
You can find the green vinyl coated wire at Lowes hardware that I know of, if not have them contact Steel City Corp in youngstown Ohio their web address is.. http://www.scity.com , ask them where the closest place to you to get "Dura Mesh" vinyl coated wire. it is sold in 3' X 25' rolls. I built a cage and a traveling cage from one roll. Our main cage is 6' high by 2' X 2' and our travel cage is 1' X 2' X 1' what we did is made 2 rectangles first and attached them together with a top and a bottom, we took plastic "quarter round" molding and placed it in each of the corners and around the top on the inside of the cage, then we took plastic corner molding and placed it out side of the cage around the quarter round. The setup is on the outside to the inside... (plastic corner molding, wire corners, quarter round) we sured it tightly with Galvanized elctric fence wire every foot apart, on top every 6 inches apart. we took an old metal shelving unit and made a stand that the cage sat on that sits 3 inches off the ground. My hubby made a tray from sheet metal that fit 2 inches bigger than the cage so we had a 2 inch bigger difference of the pan size around the whole cage. The cage looks beautiful. We do however have cafe curtain rod hangers mounted on the wall to stabalize the top they clip right around the quarter round in each back corner.
