: I know at one point on the ISGA site they recommended keeping a dog buiscuit in the cage at all times for this purpose.

: : Can anyone suggest something I should put in the cage for my glider to condition her teeth on. They seem to be getting a bit long. Is this something to worrie about and do they actually need something like rabbits or chinchillas do?
: : Also is honey mixed with water a good treat for sg?

Yes the ISGA did but that was before we knew that their front teeth are naturally long in order to scrape the limbs of trees to get to the sweet tree sap. They have 40 teeth in all and unlike rodents they do not usually have a problem with them becoming overgrown or have a need to be worn down. It is natural to actually feel the teeth if you are petting your glider under the chin and happen to brush upward with your finger.
