: Hi there, glad you wrote in. I don't think feeding it people food is really the best for your sugar glider. It may be healthy now, but who knows. I know for example my mother and I purchased little poodles from the same litter and hers has aged way way beyond mine due to being fed so much table food and mine only the best food for dogs. Sugar Gliders have very special diets. Have you heard of the Leadbeaters diet? It's so easy, fast, affordable - and HEALTHY, not to mention the little critters just love it! Welcome to Glider net, you should read through it all, offers lots of good advice. Bourbon is best by my opinion, but don't be afraid to ask questions or make comments. Susan

: : Hi! I am new on the net and was reading some of the ideas you have for what to feed your gliders. My husband and I have a glider named Cherry and she eats what we eat. Anything from cheese potaoes to biscuits and jelly to nuts fruits and vegetables. Oh yeah she also loves pizza. We find it quite amuzing that when he gets home at night she comes out of her cage to share whatever he is eating. She did bark every night until we started leaving a night lamp on for her and now she doesn't bark anymore. We have har her since March of 98. She is full grown and very playful and tame. Anyone with any comments please respond.
