: I think my baby is constipated.I read some of the previous post and found that I should try to get him to eat prune baby food. I don't think that he will eat it, but I will try to get him to tonight. If it doesn't work is there anything else that I can give him?

I have found that apricot/apple baby food is good for encouraging young (weaned)gliders to make a good textured dropping, they seem to like it.
you might try some Craisins(dried sweetened pieces of cranberry) which my gliders love.If your glider is constipated thier may be a problem with diet, and you should take it to the vet. If your glider is eating solid food,I would try as many different kinds of fruit as you can, to find something that your glider likes. Mine love grapes cut in half, peaches, apricots,( fresh or frozen), apples, mangos, papayas, oranges, tangerines, cantalope, honeydew melons, cherries, plums, ripe pears, avacado, ripe tomatoes(from the garden)sweet corn, sweet potatoes, dried fruits, preferably organic. Watermelon can give young gliders diahrea. My gliders will sometimes eat ripe bananas, they do not like strawberries, kiwis, underipe hard fruits, sour fruits. For young or sick gliders I cook the sweet potato in the microwave to soften it, the older gliders just eat a chunk of the raw sweet potato.you might try soaking dried figs or other dry fruit in apple or orange juice overnight,if your glider dosnt like them dry.I think that gliders do best with a variety of different fruits and vegetables in adition to their protien source(cat food, Brisky food or whatever.)Good luck
