the smaell of a glider marking it's territory was covered by Maria, the more you clean it the harder he will mark it thinking that the first time he marked it was good enough so each time if done too frequently, he will mark it more than the time before, let the cage sit and it will air out, after it subsides the smel will decrease. As far as the claws and allergic reactions, well i think that everyone has the same problem, seeing as they use the claws when they eat, run, and play, stuff collects under their nails, we use common alochol, we took a baby wipes box and bought some makeup cleaning pads, poured alcohol over them to saturate them, after each paly time or sometimes during, we wipe our arms with one of the pads, it might burn for a split second but it stops all reactions.
