Cynthia said it.. you have to build a trust like she said use a small room, also if they love their pouch then use it, lay it open or hang it where they can get into it.. My gliders "play out" after a few hours, staying up all night may not be an option with you, it also isn't an option with them, they will play a little then tire and want to sleep, but they must feel they have the choice.. Unlike cynthia though I don't believe in scooping them, since if they don't want caught scooping them may not be an option with out scaring them, try using your hand palm down.. stretching your fingers out and together, spread your thumb away from your hand , this will creat a V in your hand, use that V lower than their body to INTERCEPT them .. go in front of them so you are not chasing them, lay your hand down lower than their body about feet level and kinda slide your hand into their front legs with the V of your hand, direct your hand so when they walk on it, they will be on the path up your arm..this will force them to step on you..allow them to walk on your hand.. it is a lot less threatening that way.. For some reason we have found that the open hand sometimes scares an already frightened animal, any animal. the hampster hold is one thing that most gliders hate.. they need to feel that it is their CHOICE to walk on your hand, although you know it isn't..kinda slide your hand into their front legs with the V of your hand, direct your hand so when they walk on it, they will be on the path up your arm..this will force them to step on you.. My question to you, would you trust a giant if he was chasing you ???
