What do you do? you never post what state you are in on any bulletin board or web page. you dont take your glider outside. you only talk to people you can trust. you inform the pet store about the legality problem. you scope out vets who wont turn you in before giving them your name. generally you do what glider owners in MA and CA have been reduced to for a long time

: I called Animal Control for information on 200 dogs found starving on a farm north of here, wondering how I could help. While I was at it I asked about needing a licence or anything to own or breed Sugar Gliders in my town. She says marsupials are banned! What?! I say. The pet stores sell them for heaven's sake, that's misleading to customers such as myself who aren't educated in the animal bi-laws. I ask her what would happen and she says if someone complained, they'd basically show up at my door and give me 72 hours to get rid of it. My babies! What the hell am I supposed to do now?! Don't tell me to get rid of them, I would rather cut off my arm. I wish I'd have known this beforehand....there it is again - ignorance.....
