My dad is a self employed general contractor and he built our cage like this: (in about 1/2 hour)
He had a roll of 1/2 x 2(or 3) inch galvanized wire. He cut it to the right size, folded it in four ways. Then he took sheet metal pieces (he works with sheetmetal, and if u dont I would advise u get a pro) and folded them into long corner shaped and put them in the corners for support. And made them stay there with a pop and socket gun (I dont think thats the real name, but I tried!)and then he made a solid roof with sheetmetal. And there is no bottem. It rests on a plastic sheet for easy cleaning. I did the door. I cut the opening large enough. And my dad supplied me with an air condiditioning duct door that has a suppor frame and the door swings out and has a latch on it. I just clipped it on. The door is pretty nifty. Well, if u want the details, email me.
