Yes gliders do bite and can bite really hard sometimes. But what ever you do don't move your hand. If they realize that it bothers you they will keep at it. Let them bite I hurts, but soon they will learn it has no affect on you and will stop. I have had my SG's a little over a month, they were and imported breeder pair. They bit alot those first days, but not anymore, only just a nibble now and then when they are hungrey. Hope this help...
