Thank you for your help. Rockie (our sg) is drinking from a medicine dropper some calcium rich orange juice for right now. No vets are open, but will be taking him first thing in the morning. Will let yall know. If you think of anything else please pass it on. It looks to be a long night so might be checking e-mail

: I rescued a pair last fall and the female of the pair was severely calcium deficient and the male was on his way - I used Neocalgluconate .5-1.0 cc twice a day by mouth and within a week the difference was really dramatic. It can be used in the drinking water also. This stuff is expensive and my pharmacy only special orders it in pint bottles (about $40), but it was worth every penny. Ask your vet about it and get the correct dosage for your glider before using. Then be sure that the diet you're giving your glider is correct and balanced in supplements.
