Tommy about drove me crazy trying to get my glasses off last night! He kept climbing around my should and reading for and batting at my newer glasses. He ran off to play with his pals, but came back several times to try once again to get them off. He wasn't mean or nippy--just wanted my new bifocals. At least SOMEONE wants them. I'm certainly not happy about wearing glasses all the time!

Your kids room sounds wonderful! By the way, don't worry about the glasses, it's not mid-life crisis - it's computer-eye-tis. That's my excuse. My Draco likes to hang off my glasses. It's comical.

Maybe! I'd like plain ol' Mommy back, too. These glasses are bringing on a midlife crisis.

I love my Tommy boy! He was one of Molly's twins, and is just like her in temperament and appearance.

I am a big Radiohead fan, amongst all the various kinds of music I enjoy. Something about Tommy when he was just OOP reminded me of Thom Yorke! LOL! I am not sure Thom Yorke would take that as a compliment, but he should.

I love having the extra bedroom for a glider room. It's not beautiful right now, because I haven't had a chance to make all the room toys I would like yet. However, it is pretty much all cleared out, except the cages (I roll all of them out into the hallway and living room when playing with the individual colonies--that big cage is a pain in the fanny, but I do it every night!), a couple of relatively comfy chairs, and a desk that I am going to take out of there soon. I have big pieces of fleece tacked up to the walls. There's plastic chain strung up across the room (I believe it's about 12'x 12'). I've put all kinds of things that the gliders seem to find interesting along the chain. They LOVE to scale it across the room. I have a few more pieces of fleece that I tuck under the doors to the room and closet. And, I just have various things of different heights (a breakfast bed tray, a big lidded box--lid kept on; the doll house/barn/castle). Mostly, the floor space is just empty, though. They like scaling the desk and the woodwork to the closet doors!

That is so cute! I think it's cause you 'look different' and Tommy just wanted plain 'ol Mommy back!

O/T... I think it's cute you have a glider named "Tommy"... I don't know why I think that's different?!

I like hearing about playtime stories, especially ones where they have a large area to be but they come to you.

Awwww! mine likes to take their hands and grab socks and pull them into the cage and get stuck in them but somtimes i think they do it cause they are cold.

That's cute! Tommy sounds like your curious, determined one! It's funny how different their personalities can be isn't it?
