We've been introducing our 2 babies together every night in increasing amounts. Tonight they got to play together for about an hour or longer. They have been getting along GREAT, they groom each, then play with each other, then run off and play alone and then back to one another. It's so cute. Our youngest glider, Emma, who was weaned way too early due to her mother dying hasn't glided any since we got her, but tonight she started gliding. Not far distances but she definantly was trying to follow Sidney around and you could tell she wanted to glide but was a little scared to. We're just so happy that she has started to glide small distances, definantly a start. Emma has also come more out of her shell, and has started to bond alot more with us. She's hardly crabbing at all anymore. We also went to Petsmart today and bought 2 new toys for them. We got some kind of fleece rope that was actually a dog toy but they love it, they attack it and then climb it and then hang there. We also got what looks like a Buckey Ball, which is actually a dog toy also but they climb on it and chew, they seem to like it also. We are so happy that they are getting along and playing with one another so greatly! |

So today we put them in the cage together for the first time. We didn't leave them together for long, just about 30 minutes. It was so cute! Emma didn't know what to do at first and Sidney came coming up to her and almost showing her how to do it. At one point Sidney even called for Emma, came really close, then nudged her to jump. Sidney started eating her food, and we hadn't put Emma's food in the cage because we knew she would be spending the night in her own cage, so Sidney started sharing her grape with Emma. They were both sitting there eating from the same grape. I wish I had taken a picture but I didn't want to disturb them. They are getting along so great! |
