So a while back i took in my ex boyfriends 5 gliders and its tough having 4 cages and making sure everyone has play time at night. i lose a lot of sleep and sometimes my suggies dont get the love i feel they need. Its not that i dont love my suggies i do. i dont want to give any of them away. they all have special places in my heart and everyone does something different that i would miss. but anyway the point to the story is yesterday he told me he wants to give his gliders away!! i said them are my gliders now and he got mad and said he didnt give them to me i took them and he can give them away if he wants to. it would be nice to have more time with mine but u never know if someone will be good to them. with me they do get out for 2 to 3 hours a day and i feed them what they need. and yall know no one will ever love them like u love them. but anyways ive been praying about it alot so i can find a good home for them and i want it someone close so i can check up on them whenever i want to. but really i pray for a bigger house so i can just keep all of them. sorry really i just wanted to rant cause its not fair. i dont suppose any of u live close to me so i can come by everyday? lol but i would like for yall to pray for me to that would be great....

I would just refuse to give them to him. If he wants to give them away then he has, TO YOU. He has no legal right to them if you've been taking care of them. Sorry for being so pushy sounding about it but I'm truly upset for you and those babies. They know you and love you as much as you love them. I think it would just stress them out to relocate them now. I'd just tell him "sorry but they are here and this is where they will stay". You and your babies are most definately in my prayers.

If me and my boyfriend ever spilt up he always told me he would get our suggies.Tell hour what i tell mine OVER MY DEAD BODY. best wishes

I will pray for you. It is a hard situation, but it sounds like they do belong to him. Maybe since you have been so nice to care for them he would let you take them to wherever they are going this way you can check the place out, talk to the new owners, share some knowledge, tell them about glider gossip, make sure they have the best info to start off with. Oh your situation sucks, gliders take so much care and they are not something you learn to take care of overnight. How dare he want to take them from a loving home where they are being cared for and loved!!! My heart goes out to you. Best wishes.

I DID TAKE THEM FROM HIM IT WAS A SUGGIENAPPING LOL. BUT HE HAS 5 IN A LITTLE CAGE AND THEY WOULD GOES DAYS WITHOUT HIM LETTING THEM OUT SO I BEGGED AND BEGGED FOR HIM TO LET ME KEEP THEM FOR HIM. I GOT THEM IN A BIGGER CAGE AND THEY GET PLAY TIME EVERYDAY. I THINK HE WANTS TO GIVE THEM TO ONE OF HIS FRIENDS. ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN THOUGH. IM NOT GOING TO LET IT. THEY WILL GET A GOOD HOME OR THEY ARE NOT GOING NOWHERE. SORRY BOUT THE CAPS. THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS NEED ALL I CAN GET. :)

IMO, if you've had them for a long period of time and you are the one providing for them AND he chose to leave them than that should make them yours.I don't know the reason he left them but if he just deserted them than he has no right to them. Maybe I'm wrong, but that is how I feel about your situation. And how I would be if I were in that position, if he didn't care enough to take them with him then he doesn't care enough for them now.

Why does he want to GIVE them away?? It sounds to me like they have a home were they are cared for and loved very much.
I've had 3 cages here before so I can see where you are coming from on the amount of time you can give each one and how hard it can be sometimes.I don't doubt your love for them, I loved all of mine as if they were my kids.The best advice I can give is to follow your heart, it will usually steer you in the right direction. You will definetly be in my prayers.
