Goofy little girls! Last night, I was really exhausted when I was playing with Molly's colony of six. I was cuddled up in a comfy, safe chair I keep in the glider room with a nice warm fleece blanket while they all ran, climbed, glided and raised general mayhem. I had one of the feathers on a stick toys, and was shaking it around. Amelia and Mandy love growling at it and chasing it! Anyhow, I was so incredibly tired, I started to doze off and actually dropped the toy on the floor when the two girls ran off to scale one of the giant pieces of fleece pinned up on the wall. Well, like little kids ("Hey, watch me!!! Look at what I can do!!! Look at me, look at meeeeeee!!!"), they are little hams, and they do notice whether or not I watch them! I didn't realize how much until last night. Mandy and Amelia came up to me several times when I dozed off, and SLAPPED ME on the cheek! "MOM, WAKE UP AND WATCH ME!" Wow, was I sleepy last night! Guess I need to take a bottle of Diet Coke in there with me to keep me awake! |

I love "Family Guy"! I forgot that episode until you brought it up. Yep, that slapped me! Honest to goodness. It may have been Mandy both times, but I was so tired, I'm not certain. They are fun little girls! Both Mandy and Amelia have been with me their entire lives--which is about fifteen months now. I just love 'em to pieces, because they're such loving, spoiled little princesses. I wish I could say that they're very tame and stay right with me when they're out, but they don't. In fact, Mandy's a brat about not wanting to go back in the cage at the end of playtime. There are many nights when I spend a good 45 minutes after everyone else is back in the cage, chasing her around, trying to bribe her with goodies--which she quickly grabs and runs away with--before she finally relents and goes back in the cage with the rest of her family! |

That is what I do with my mom. I will spend five minutes going "mom, mom, mom, mommy, moooooom, mama, madre...." and then finally go up to her and tap or shake her to get her attention to show her what I can do! That reminds me of an episode of family guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2afUAVUMHvs

That is cute!! I lost my glider room when Justin moved back in and I really miss it. One day when the kids are older SOMEONE will have to move out, ONEDAY. |

That is so cute. Sounds like alot of fun. Maybe one of these days one of my children will move out and get their own place so I can have a glider room. I really want one so I can do that too. Just sit in the room with them and watch them play and let them glide around and stuff. Sounds like a wonderful peaceful evening. I'm so jealous.....lol |
