Before this site I never heard of tent time. I'd always worry about what kind of nonsense can be on the floor that the broom can miss, and how easily can he move the towel and slip under the door. Prior to today the only safe room in my house was an empty bedroom and I would drag bar stools and chairs and throw fleece over them and play with feathers, but that is absolutely no comparison to tent time! Well, I finally found a tent that fits in the house without rearranging furniture, so today was my little monkey's first tent time! I put blue and green fleece aaaaaaall over the inside and little strips of it hanging down everywhere, it was like a fuzzy jungle in there. I had to lure the little guy onto his pouch with mango juice to bring him in there and the second he finished and realized where he was he went craaaazy. He was jumping and swinging off the strips like - A LITTLE MONKEY. (a little pet name I have for him is my little monkey, his name is Z, for Zorro) I had my boyfriend in with me and Z would jump from the top to my head to his head to the wall to the floor. One time he jumped from the top of the dome right onto boyfriend's face! HA! I had a little feather and Z would bat at it and I would tickle his belly with it and he'd run up my arm to get it but get distracted by the fleece strips all over again. I feel like I should have named him Tarzan :) So I'm getting tired and decide playtime is over and I put the pouch by him and he crawls in and before I can pick it up he climbs right back out. So I show him his blankets and he grabs them out of my hand like he's gonna snuggle in the pouch with them and instead he starts to climb me with them. He drops them and does a lap around the tent and I put my finger in the pouch like there's treats so he crawls in and I snuggle the blankets in there and fold the top down. I felt bad because I kept feelin his little nose trying to poke out like "noooooo mom, I wanna play!" Sorry sweetie, mamma's gotta sleep

Tent time is where somebody sits in a tent with their gliders. It gives them space to play and they actually have to interact with you. A lot of people use it as a bonding technique.

What is tent time? I will be getting some gliders soon and am doing as much as I can to make sure they are cared for.
