Hello,

My girlfriend and I recently adopted a 1 1/2 yr old glider Gemma. I did a lot of research on her before I got her. I haven't had her for more than 24 hours and she is incredible. What I have read is that sometimes bonding can be tough at this age however she took right to me and my girlfriend. She hasn't crabbed at all since she has been in her new home. We already play games with her and has found her spot either on my belly, pocket, or folds up my shirt for a little bed for her. I feel its going really well, but I'm new so correct me if I'm wrong.

We are planning on getting her a male, we have it lined up for November 10th to introduce them and if all goes well he will be coming home with us :)

I am looking for a pretty good meal plan for her right now. I have a lot of info sheets and recipes but I am looking for something simple for right now. Some meat, veg, and fruits. Are dried fruits and veggies okay? and how should the meat be done? cooked chicken and cooked steak?

any suggestions would be incredible, feel free to email me or PM me as well.

You will need to take him to the vet first and hopefully neuter. He needs a fecal done to ensure he does not have parasites he c an give your girl. Then a 30 day quarantine. After the quarantine, another vet visit and fecal and if all is good, you can begin scent swapping. You shouldn't just stick them together because one may be sick and get the other sick. What diet are you planning on feeding? As far as meats go, it depends pretty much on what diet you are feeding. If OHPW, you on't need a protein. And protein should be boiled or baked chicken without any season, scrambled eggs (no cooking oils or seasonings) and you can use ground turkey as well. Just never season any of their food. Or you could be safe and feed yogurt. With no artificial sweeteners.
