New mommy to an 8 week old little girl after being glider free for about 6 years! I got her last sunday and tonight I did our first tent (ok, bathroom) time and I think we made some progress! After exploring everything she finally came over to me to see if i was "climb worthy" but after not much success (bare legs) she gave up and went back to attempting to scale the shower curtain. She did climb onto the hamper that was at my eye level and then attempt to jump onto my face before she fell and scrambled away. I would label this a face hug except for the fact that she crabbed while she did it, a battle cry perhaps?

I'm shocked at the progress though! She still wont let me near her, she has to be the one to come to me, but I think she's doing great so far.

just thought I'd share!

that is awesome just a tip coming from someone doing the same where long clothing if its hot make it thin but if she chooses to trust and climb you she should be able to I think if she's on you and smelling you it will help with the bonding from what I've read just a thought have fun

That's wonderful! It's so cool to watch the trust grow as they learn you are a safe spot.
