Lately I've been seeing a lot of people posting really late at night.. then adding comments to their post about needing help now or adding a new post to look at the old post. This is just really silly.

Someone will help you when they can. But you can't expect too many answers when you post late at night. People aren't just bypassing your posts, so don't worry about that. We see all the new posts when we click on active topics. So "bumping" it up by saying "isn't anyone going to help me" isn't actually helping. You could also try posting your question both here and on GC. They have a lot more members and I see more people on later at night. That still doesn't guarantee that your question will get answered before morning though.

So please just be patient guys. We promise to help you when we can. Thanks.

Fadedrainbows, I think you have a very valid point. We all have lives that include spouses, kids, jobs and our animals. We do the best we can but we just cant be here 24/7.

I think the problem here is EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE AN EXOTIC VET. If you have an emergency late at night and no one is here - thats who you need to call for help. If you dont have an exotic vet, let us know and we will help you find one.

Now I am not saying never, ever post asking for medical help. We do need to hear all the illnesses, accidents, etc the gliders are having. That is the only way we learn. And when we learn, we can help others.

I really don't know what the big deal is. So someone posts in the wrong spot big deal. When Admin. comes around they will fix it. If you want to tell them then I say just PM them and say it nicely. Like "Hey you might want to post that in the chat area instead of the glider area. Have nice day. Then flag it for Admin.

You'all have nice day now.

Thank you Kyro. And I meant to post my second one as anon too. Forgot to click the box. I didn't want to get flamed by the people I was talking about. I already flagged for admin as well.

Although it should have gone in general chat, I don't think anyone's posts were ignored because of it. I think you made a very valid point, fadedrainbows. In the future, in case someone doesn't know, you can just flag a post and put a note in that it's in the wrong section. It shouldn't disappear unless a lot of people flag it, but admin will move it for you. It certainly doesn't need to be an issue. There are two other posts going on in "sugar gliders" that have NOTHING to do with sugar gliders and no one said anything on those (last time I looked).

Uh. I said sorry. Did you not see that? Not to mention as I said in my post anything new comes up in active topics. So nobody is getting ignored because I accidentally posted this in the wrong place. I'd erase if I could but since I did it as anon I can't.

Thank you for your input, but this really should have been placed in general chat so people needing helps post don't get buried.
