my cat Snowball will be 17 yrs old this year she recently got cancer this past year she has no right ear left b/c the cancer she has stopped eating kinda and drinking she walks low to the ground her heart is a bigger size and she has been with me since she was a kitten since '95 this Thursday 5-3-12 she will be put down it breaks my heart she was my first baby but I think it is best while she is still happy and not in pain I feel depressed now b/c I have to make this decision *cry* pleas help me keep Snowball in your prayers

You can still get the tattoo...just hold on to the idea and wait till you are out of the house. I ended up waiting till I was almost 30 but eventually got my first one. The ring sounds like a lovely keepsake, really sorry for your loss....

thanks......tattoo will NOT happen ugh my parents said ill regret it and now they say no :( but my mom says she can get an engraved ring for me with her name and year

I've been there, my Gabby was nearly 19 when she passed 2 yrs ago.

she went peacefully I am crying in and out but now I can't cry anymore im just staring into nothing quiet :( I am having to wrap her up and put her in the crate my bf is making the whole in the ground my vet mad my mom and I free of charge 2 small clays with her paw print and her name above the print my tattoo is gonna be different its gonna be a paw print with music notes at the top in the fingers and her name above and below the print '95-'12

I had my cats from the age of 6...my Midnight and Gladys Knight. It's soooo hard.. But you have the memories to hold on to and part of her will always be with you!!

She's not leaving you. She will always be right there with you. I'm sure they'll let you hold her. If they want to go out of the room, you can suggest you want to be with her. Just look into her eyes and tell her you love. It will be peacful.

I don't like needles either, but the only time my tattoo hurt (and even then it was more annoying than painful) was when they were coloring it. I got it on my arm - not sure if it's different for the ankle - but it wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it was going to be.

my boyfriend made a little cat casket for me yesterday he was sweet to that so she can have a proper burial this evening also I am going to the tattoo shop this Saturday to see how they can do it on my ankle and how much so I may get it done that day *yikes* I hate needles but I want it done

and I am thinking the ankle so if I ever go into an interview it needs to be on a place where its not that noticeable I would like it on the shoulder blade but it would be noticeable though

I'd have to say shoulder. I have one on the outside of my right ankle and it was pretty painful. I too look forward to seeing it wherever you decide to put it.
