May you please give me a detailed step by step guide on how to bond with new sugar gliders? Also, include links that may help.

Thanks,
Matthew

I too am a new owner. Everything I have read so far has told me patience and time. Giving the gliders the time they need to learn to trust you. Also, leaving articles of clothing you have worn in their cage, and using a bonding bag once they are well adjusted to their new home. I also learned that you can sometimes hand feed them which teaches them your scent brings them good things. Give them opportunities to smell you but once they pull away you need to also pull away and give them their space. If they crab at you leave them be immediately. I do not think there is a step for step guide. Just small daily things to show them they can trust you, plus giving them all the time they need, even if it takes a month or more. OH you can also get a small piece of cloth that they would find comfortable, and you can carry it with you all day and place it in their cage later. You should take out these cloths and clothing every other day to re scent it though, or replace it with another scented item. Hope this helps.

Mine really like meal worms, so I hand feed them meal worms now which seems to tell them I smell like food more than anything but I think it is helping regardless.
