A newbie was asking about cages earlier and Goldwinger posted a pic of "one of her cages" It was a great setup. Newbie says "one of your cages?". I think the majority of us have more than one. If its more than three you just have to tell the story LOL

I have an UBER cage and a hospital cage. I used to have a travel cage until I bought a pet carrier.

Four cages here, two quarantine cages, one travel cage and a very large cage.

I have *gulp* six BIG cages, and three travel cages.

I still have the small cage from Rheasha that I brought my babies home in! I thought this was only counting flight cages, so now I must go into the 4 or more group!

I've got four, and I'm building another.
My first two came years ago when we had cockatiels. The first one is about 2'x2'x3'. It housed Sundown, our first bird. We bought Daystar, our second bird and purchased a larger cage, about 2½'x3'x4'.
The third one came with my glider, Sasha. It is the smallest cage, about 1½'x1½'x2½' ... and it reeks of neglect and pot.
My fourth one is really more of a long term loan. It's previous owners were all ferrets, so it got a good scrubbing. It measures about 3'x3'x4½'.
I've been wanting a walk-in aviary, but wanted someone to put in there as an excuse to build one first. I picked up Sasha, so now I have the excuse!
It will be at least 6'x8'x6'.

I have 2 cages of my own. One being wayyyy too small for even a single glider. I bought it when I first brought BabyGirl home. This was temp. until her permanent cage was built by Nos (member on here). I've kept that cage for emergencies and travel. I had Sunshine in it with hopes it would only be temp. But this intro is taking longer than I'd hoped. SugarKitty (Heather) is so wonderful for letting me borrow her much bigger cage for Sunshine temp. I got that one tonight :o) My total is temp. 3!

Technically I have one more but I don't even count it. It's a very very tiny round bird cage that Jersey came in. I was so upset when I saw her in that dang thing!!!!!!!! I'm going to sell it in a garage sale. No need for it here!

Eventually I plan to trash the PVC cage and get another flight cage.

Everyone.... keep the small cages they came in. Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Bush fires. Whatever you have to get away from. The one that came with mine is flimsy and about 3 ft high by 2 x 2 so that would be great to put in the back seat of my truck and not to small they couldn't deal with in an emergency.

I have 4. I have the two flight cages hooked together that all 6 live in right now and I also have 2 of the same cages Rita has from CCW. Kiki and Skitzi came in one-Daddy and Zoomerang in the other. They were actually handy post-neuter and for quarantine.

I have three. One that came with the gliders. I keep that one because it would be a good size for traveling if I needed to take them with me.

I have two set up.

Oh - I thought the poll was about cages of gliders. I have ... 10? cages - of various sizes. But, I have 13 gliders, in 6 cages. So - 6 cages of gliders.

I have the small PPP cage that I've used for quarantine, a travel cage, and my large J & M Tower cage.

I'm down to 6. From 8.

I have 4 cages total but not all are permanent homes for my gliders.

I got my first cage when I got my Lucas. It was very small. On a search for a larger cage for Lucas we stumbled upon another glider for sale. We found a great cage and a friend for Lucas all in one day. We turned the small cage in for sale to the pet store as a store credit and I was down to one cage and two gliders.

Then comes Christmas Eve when I'm told by my husband to go check out a glider for sale at the pet sore. Finding this little girl under a shelf, on the floor in a small filthy cage I had to take her. While she was in quarantine in her little cage I found another girl glider to rescue and she came with a really nice size home made cage. So now I have 4 gliders, 3 cages. I knew it was time for a bigger newer cage.

We found my last cage that is the big brown one at bird.com and I love it. Right after getting that cage my next rescue came in the form of my chubby bald headed Jack. So now I have 5 gliders and 4 cages.

After all is done and intro's are complete I will have 2 cages that will house my 5 gliders, a quarantine cage and a hospital cage.

I have 3. The first one I purchased from Custom Cage Works when I got Tilly. It was WAY to small. I think I paid around $75.00 to $100.00 for it.

The second one I purchased from a bird store. It is a very nice, sturdy
cage - but the two front doors are so small that I had to remove the top of the cage whenever I needed to clean the wheels or decorate the cage. It was much larger than the Custom Cage Works cage - but again, to small. I paid $125.00 for it.

The 3rd cage I purchased is the Exel Tower cage and it is PERFECT! I bought it off of e-bay and paid right at $200.00 including the shipping.

I have kept the 1st and 2nd cages. The small Custom Cage Works cage is ok for a hospital cage. The 2nd cage I purchased is perfect for quarantine time when adding a new glider.
