25/25/50 for me! =) Just because it was chosen by my suggies over the others I've tried. ^^' |

I use BML... although I wish I could mix it up less often, it is the best for my babies. If they get "bored" (they rarely do) then I just mix it up... only veggie one night, only fruits the next, mixed the next... It's easy, I don't have to "think" and they get a frozen cube plus fresh fruits and veggies. I voted BML! |

I have a few other things that I do and should have mentioned it in the previous post but I am a woman of few words mostly. If they do not eat meat for a few nights then I just give them meat and nothing else. If they are hungry they should eat the meat. I also put the calcium in the foods they seem to like (the per lb ratio is listed on the bottle) I usually put it in the fruits but they seem to get into a veggie mood sometime so the next batch of food I make I put it in the veggies. |

25/25/50 here as well. HOWEVER, if they won't eat any of the diets you listed, none of them are successful. |

Alden--I have not tried HPW, but would love to try it. I have a hard time getting my spoiled fuzz butts to eat anything of a blended consistancy (or anything the same more than two nights in a row, for that matter!). Have you had any issues with this? |

HPW Hands Down. I personally don't trust the 50/25/25 diet. It makes it too easy to unwittingly cut corners. At least, it does for me! I would worry about the calcium. I would worry about everything! I'm single and I don't even make myself dinner every night - so I couldn't count on having something to "set aside" for the gliders. With HPW - I know they are getting all the right nutrients every night. And calculating ratios isn't even necessary - so many have already done it! Just a block of frozen HPW, and another block of frozen (thawed) fruits and veggies - and that's it! |

Like Snusie, I prefer the 50/25/25 diet. Honestly, BML is easiest for me, but I cannot get my spoiled fuzz butts to eat it on a regular basis. If they're not eating their protein, I get worried. The worry is more stressful for me than to try to keep ratios straight. |

I feel the BML diet is easiest because a new owner does not have to worry about ratios with it. I feel the hardest part of any diet is calculating the ratios, after a while you know them in your head but at first they can be overwhelming. |

I use the 50/25/25 diet. It's easiest for me. Generally, the vegetables I give them are the same thing we're having, I just set aside a portion for them before I add butter, salt, salad dressing, onions or whatever. We always have lots of fruit on hand, especially in the summer, and it's so simple to cut up half my apple, for example, or a slice of canteloupe. And I prepare the meat (chicken, ground turkey) on Sunday, and freeze in small pieces to take out their serving to thaw every day, or scramble an egg in the microwave. The hardest part is keeping the calcium/phosphorus ratio right, and it's become second nature to me by now. |
