I have a preliminary article, as stated in the title. How do I submit it for vetting by others? |

Thanks, LovelyOne. I had planned on doing something on that too, but am still coming up with additions and amendments to the edible plant article, which I plan to post on Sunday. I'm also going to try again to add pictures, I think that would be more helpful than any kind of description. If I figure out how to do it, I'll see if I can add some pix to the poisonous plant article too. And I want to do a whole section on herbs, so many of the ones we eat the gliders find yummy too, like parsley, mint, basil ... this is going to be fun! |

I fleshed out something basic for the poisons, not so good at the formatting side of things if someone wants to make it prettier. |

Thanks Ko! See, this is what I mean by "vetting". I'll look into adding more details. I would also like to add thumbnail photos of various plants, how do I get them into the photo gallery? When I tried uploading a pic from my photo album it came out enormous and that's not what I want. Edited to add: Please feel free to amend, correct, clarify and expand upon whatever I've written. I appreciate any help from anyone with knowledge! |

Can I suggest Snusie, that you include all varieties of Callistemon and Eucalyptus rather than just one variety of each? This way, people wont feel limited to only finding these varieties. Already there is a lot of confusion with eucs that you can only feed the species that Matt from eucproducts sells, but that is definitely not true.

Snusie, you have to go into your profile and select YES to become a Gliderpedia editor. Then you can edit and create files. You are welcome to learn how to make files super neat and tidy or just dont bother and at least get the information there in any fashion. Others of us can spend time working out the nifties, it doesnt matter. The hardest thing for the Gliderpedia is to get content. And of course, the more references you can cite, the better the article will be. I love that you are doing this. And as such, I will also buy the pizza. :)

No problem :) For anyone else wondering, it's "Wikipedia" style. Here's some info from the Gliderpedia: "The 'Gliderpedia' is a community-supported encyclopedic collection of knowledge that relates to Sugar Gliders. The information here is in a Wiki format, which means that the community can make and edit documents, and changes appear immediately. Click around a bit and explore all the articles, things are always changing." "The Gliderpedia discussion forum is where ideas on procedures, article changes, and more are discussed and documented. If you're interested in becoming an editor, please feel free to contribute to any gliderpedia discussions, either old or new. As a member of the community, you are able to create or edit wiki documents and by doing so you are adding to the knowledge base on the Gliderpedia. You must be logged in as an editor to access that feature."

No, I haven't. I don't know the procedure for putting an article in. I assume that there is some type of approval process. |

Did you already post it to the Gliderpedia? Edited to add: I don't see it but once it's posted to the Gliderpedia, anyone has access to edit it (If they are an editor-which you can update in your profile) |
