Howdy Terry, Love your ideas! Nancy is the hostess could you email her your suggestions please? Are you going to vend this year? And yes it will be hot, most activities are planned indoors at the motel. :)

'Tis gunna be hot hot hot in July. Might be a good idea to plan an afternoon at a nearby lake. Might also be a good idea to sync Ed up to do an afternoon open house at his place. I know a bus company if that is needed for the gig. I also recommend the Dallas World Aquarium
for those who have never been. It is multiple floors of an entire downtown warehouse type of building and it has an open 2 story glass roof aviary for most of the adventure. |

WHOOP, 3 days until the actual event. However tomorrow night at 5p everyone is meeting in the lobby at the Hotel and touring downtown and then eating at a Seafood Restaurant on the water, cant remember the name!
Friday night is the block party and Sat is the main event!!! I promise there will be lots of socializing and a few surprises along the way! Bring sanitizer Oh and glider people dont sleep just so ya know! |

I am about an hour and a half away and thinking about going with my daughter. She is 10 - will she be bored? Is it a bunch of lectures and stuff or more of a glider shopping extravaganza or a little of both? |

OMG less than 6 weeks til the largest, greatest glider gathering with the most vendors anknowledgable people in the same plave, beautiful St. Augustine Florida. The Atlantic ocean, on my bucket list!! Hope to see ya there. If you plan on attending and have not registered please do so now.
