Hello!
I got my two precious sugar gliders six months ago and I'm wondering if I've been spending enough time with them. I usually spend about an hour to 1 1/2 hours with them in the afternoon. I then play with them again usually from 8-9:30 pm. During these times I sit in the bathroom and they jump and climb around on me and their surroundings. Sometime throughout the day they also spend about an hour with me in their bonding pouch. Am I spending enough time with them? And is it bad that I don't play with them past 10 pm when they are most active?

Thank you all in advance!

Hello and welcome

I think you're doing a great job! Some people are not able to give out of cage time to their gliders everyday. As Long as you interact with them on a daily basis, they seem happy, are healthy, and they are friendly towards you.... You're doing good. I only play with my babies through the cage if it's too late. Otherwise, if I allow them to be out during the late hours, it's almost impossible to get them back in their cage and when I do, they act really disappointed. Lol I will usually take mine out for extended playtime about an hour to an hour and a half before they usually get up for the night. I do 30-40 minute play sessions in the middle of the day (only if they're up for it). I have quite a few gliders though, so I have to balance spending time with everyone.

Anyway, you have to work around your schedule. I think you're doing a very good job though
