When I go to my brother and sisters practices I bring my suggie. He's with me pretty much wherever I go since I only have one and I don't want him to be lonely.

Everyone is starting to go home and with all the noise came my suggie pokin' his little head out of his pouch.

I encourage him to come out by talking to him. Not minding the nasty glares from the rude, tired, sweaty parents.

He climbs up on my shoulder and watches everyone with his dark eyes. Eventually a quite large and obnoxious woman who I didn't want near my baby when I saw her walking towards me

"IS THAT A *ING RAT" She yells loudly, of course... she's one of those people who think fairly expensive, graceful ('cept mine crabs or flies at a mirror) exotic animals are still classified under "rat"

I sigh and repeat the same phrase I have all day "No. It's a sugar glider. Would you like to pet him?" I say blandly. NOW REMEMBER I SAID PET. AS IN STROKE, RUB, ETC...

"ohmoygawd yea" she comes up AND PICKS HIM UP, SWOOPING HER HAND DOWN FROM ABOVE AND SQEEZING HIS RIBS, RIPPING HIM OFF OF ME

I wanted to start screaming and crying for subjecting my suggie to this half ton rude bitch.

He turned and bit her. She flinched so bad she almost dropped him

"oh yeah he does that when people can't comprehend that I said PET and not BREAK RIBS" I say full off attitude.

She smacks her lips that are painted with tacky lipstick.

I grab my chair and walk away, feeling infuriated yet proud at myself.

That's so rude! In my country, none of the adults would be so excited like an unrestrained child.

I would probably have said a lot more. Some people are just rude. Proud that you spoke up tho, and your baby let her know he didn't like her attention one bit.
