Hey all!

I'm planning on redecorating my girls' cage soon and I'm looking for ideas. I've done some google image searching, but I figure that you can never have too many inspirational pictures lol.

So if anybody has pictures of particularly fun cages or super cute cage accessories or really cool toys that your gliders especially like, I'd really love to see them!

Thanks!

I've made a ball pit for my girls in the past and they just completely ignored it. I eventually got rid of it because it was just wasting space. I've recently made them a new one because I just think the idea of a glider ball pit is ridiculously adorable . . . but they STILL won't touch it. Sigh. I guess I like the idea of a ball pit more than they do ha.

I haven't tried putting rubber duckies in it though, so I'll give that a go! Is it safe to leave the ducks with them unsupervised? One of my girls is a chewer . . . I don't want her to choke on duck pieces

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound that way. Decorating their cages is exciting, at least for me (cage designing and toy making are kind of like a hobby for me). My laptop was in the shop at the time and I really didn't have an easy way of posting any pics anyway.

I love looking at cage setup pics, and posting pics (I don't take pics or post all of the time, lol). I have frequently gone through older cage picture posts myself to get inspiration.

I do now have my laptop back so I'll post some designs [:D

This is current
Upper levels (The stuff on the outside of the upper level is for my glider's out of cage play time).

Lower level

Last Christmas

Here is an older one, I believe from 2013 (When I had just the girls, before Ollie).

I hope you find your inspiration you're looking for and enjoy!

One thing that you might try with your ball pit is to hide treats in different areas of it. My pair love foraging for their treats!

Good question. The ducky I have came with the ball pit I ordered online which was made for sugar gliders. So I assumed everything that came with it was safe for gliders. It's never been an issue...she likes to toss it around and it's still in good condition. A good rule of thumb is that if it's safe for babies it's probably safe for gliders. If you see any wear and tear, or pieces coming off, it's best to replace it. Glad you're having fun with it all

My female absolutely loves her ball pit. You can fill it with all sorts of fun things like pom poms, ping pong balls, plastic rings, etc. Her favorite toy is a little rubber ducky. Only negative...she keeps me awake at night . Also, fleece vines are popular. And of course their exercise wheel. I'm sure you'll find lots of ideas from people here and previous posts. People get so creative. Have fun!

I love posting pics of my gliders cage when I redecorate it, but sadly my laptop is in the shop. Maybe try a cage search here? I know there are some threads on here, I've posted on them
