Adopted a 3yo glider just over a month ago. Everything has been going wonderfully. No crabbing, little nibbling/biting and good appetite. On Saturday he bolted out of his pouch and ran down my leg to the floor. Seems like he was scared of something. Then hid under the couch for over 30 minutes before he could be convinced to come out and back into his pouch. Would not settle so put him back in his cage.
Has eaten very little in last two nights and does not want to do our early morning play time. I am usually up to play with him in the AM for at least an hour of out of cage play time. The last two mornings he has just climbed into his pouch and burrowed into a corner.
Have I missed something or is this a normal reaction from an older glider who has been adopted?

Sorry for the delay. Presently he is alone but we are getting another 2 gliders soon for him. Will be getting them at the end of June. Two females for his lordship now that he has been fixed.

Is your glider alone or does he have a cage buddy?
