Hi!
So, I have no idea what to call this or what is going on. When I went to bed, everything seemed fine. But early in the morning I heard them crabbing really loud. Like, so loud that it woke me up, and I've pretty much gotten used to all their sounds. I got up and when I did, one sugar glider was on top of the other, grabbing at his fur and whatnot. The one who was on the other isn't hurt I don't think, but his bum and sort of "Lower" tail is kinda wet where it wasn't before. When the one tries to move, the both start hissing and crabbing and fighting, even if their pretty high up. And, i just realized, sometimes when this one glider is on top of the other.. his male thing is out. ( I honestly don't know if I am allowed to use that word) I can't say how long this has been going on, I just noticed it now. The only way to really get them separated is to offer them treats, and don't have that many that they like, and that only works sometimes! I'm so confused, I don't understand what's going on. One thing i read about ( a topic that was a similar situation) was that I need to get them neutered? Would I just need to neuter the one or both? I am going away for a really short weekend trip, what do I do? Also, how much does neutering a suggie cost? I have more money than usual right now, but still, this is'nt good. What will I do till monday while I am away? I put another pouch in the cage to see if that helps, but again, I've no idea! And when buggies get neutered, are they in pain? Oh, and what would i need to do after? OH, and sometimes, the one just seems to hold onto to the other without letting go. almost like he's a baby and riding on the mom's back... but this is bad.

You don't need to nueter both of them. I would say to wait and see. If they are doing it for dominance, then they may sort it out themsoeves. As long as neither gets physically hurt, i would say it's okay, its just gliders being gliders. As for the nuetering, I would personally reccomdngetting bith. neutered eventually, but you can definitely do one at a time. I don't think you need to sepereafe them, I would say they would miss eachother too much.
Also, nuetering them when they are older may help with the dominance and territorial behavior but it may not, because they are older, it may not make a huge difference, but it could. My breeder had a really mean male glider who was about a year old and after he got him neutered, his personally really evened out. He was finally able to be introduced to another female glider and now they are really happy. It all depends on the glider. It's whether the behavior is because of the testosterone or whether it is just their personality.
Also, I wouldn't worry about testicular cancer. Of course removing the testicles would mean there is no chance of them getting testicular cancer, but that's a weird way to see it. It's the same mentality as if you don't get your bones removed, you may develop bone cancer.
Good luck:)

Thanks:) If I neuter one, do I need to neuter the other? And do I need to seperate them? And is it true that if they're not neutered they will get testicular cancer or kill each other?

Both dogs and gilders do that to show dominance. Yes that is similar to breeding but it is also showing dominance.

Yes neutering will make them less stinky, but that doesn't mean it will make them friendlier, less territorial, less dominant, and lose the instinct to try and mate.

My male has always been a sweetie, but very dominant and territorial. Nothing other than smell and the fact he can't make babies changed. He still tries to reproduce and he is aggressive to other gliders who aren't in his colony. I paid $175 to get his pom pom removed.

If you have a set of unnuetered males, they may be taking out their 'sexual desires' onto eachother. I think when males and females breed, it's very similar to what you described. When dogs are not neutered, they start humping because they have these desires and don't know what to do. I would suggest getting them neutered personally. Especially if you are not planning to breed, it's a lot better as they smell less and may even be friendlier. As for the cost, it does vary, but from what I have seen, if isuduakky between 70-200 dollars. I eoukdbtapend any less or any more, I think that's the sweet spot. Also, they will obviously be in a little pain as it is a surgery, but it's not bad. (I obviously can't speak gromexpericne:)), but their testicles hang out in a little Pom Pom by their belly. When they are budgeted, the doctors just 'cut off' the Pom Pom which stops producing testosterone and then they won't have those urges anymore.
Good luck:)

He's just asserting dominance over the other member of his colony, it's quite normal.
It's not worrying except if it gets into open fights, but if it's just occasionaö bickering and that none is hurt, I'd suggest to let them sort it out (just keep a close eye on them though to make sure it does not degenerate in conflict)
