Okay, so we had bed bugs (AWFUL).
We had two different exterminators. First one put a spray on the base boards and undersides of couches. He said after it dries it has no odor and is safe for birds. He said it lasts 90 days, which would bring us to the end of September.
Second exterminator (different company) said he puts down a different treatment and it's safe for animals, but also said he wouldn't put any in the living room because of the gliders. However, after the treatment I asked to confirm that he didn't put the stuff down I the living room and he never got back to me.

So I haven't let my gliders out to play in the living room because even though both exterminators said it was safe, I'm nervous about them coming into contact with chemicals and getting sick or dying. We do tent time instead (I had a post about it). (I don't like the tent time and don't think they do either)

Questions:

Would you trust the exterminators and go ahead and let them out to play?
Or
Worries about bugs aside, would you wash the baseboards and then let them out to play?
Or
Would you stick with tent time until October just to be safe?

Thanks!

Tent time is fine, in that situation, I'd continue with tent play and let the bugs die off. You don't want to have to deal with that again if you can help it. As precaution, I'd wash the baseboards still at the end of 90 days just to be sure, before letting them out.
