My little girl is around 8 or 9..not sure, vet said her weight is at 56grams. She went in recently for a sinus infection, then again with a purferated cornea.loads of meds and care, but she seems colder than usual.i heat up a sock filled wth rice, but that doesnt last long and her other cage mates dont always lay with her. ..any suggestions?? And making the house warmer isnt an option.i live in florida and their room is already warmer than the rest of the house.i just cant find any products out there, she wont chew on.

I got one of these for my gliders. You're in Florida so I don't know if it would make much a difference with it being warm there, but I use this in their cage in the fall and winter here in NJ. It's not very hot so they won't get burned on it, but it provides a safe warmth to their cage. I have my cage covered in fleece on the top, back, and sides, and keep the front open.

Enya gets yogart as well and as for honey..its used as a treat..maybe becuz she doesnt feel good shes alittle colder..idk...ive been recueing gliders for about 20 years..sometimes you get hit with a curve ball...my last one..lucius..was almost 15 and had no health issues till his teeth were pulled..old age got him.

That's a much better weight anything below 60 is a danger zone

be careful with raw honey, it's not supposed to be used in blm. There is a huge difference between raw and filtered honey nutritionally. Bml specifies not to use raw because of this.

Clavamox n meloxicam are good i really like clavamox for facial and dental issues we do suggest giving gliders on antibiotics like clavamox and baytril some yogurt with live cultures ( no low or 0 fat no artificial sweeteners ) to help restore the good guttural bacteria. Antibiotics gets rid of the good bacteria as well as the bad bacteria the yogurt helps to restore them.

Sorry i was wrong about her weight 67 grams...shes been vet checked by the best in the area.. shes on clavamox, meloxicam and ofloxacin eye drops. Her diet is fresh fruit, veghies, bml and meal worms..she actually loves crushed eggshells covered in honey..i have free range chickens and a neighbor who has local bee hive for honey.shes vey active..just seems cold at times. She came from a very bad situation and only had one child with her brother..i have both.i also have on hand a saline bag and needles in case of dehydration. ..but shes good.

56 grams is within the danger weight zone for an adult glider. If she feels cold put her in your bra or in a pouch in your bra so your body heat warms her up.

Typically gliders won't eat or drink if they are cold so check her for dehydration n get some fluids in her asap

what meds is she on? diet?
