Pixel is a young male, very adventurous, we've seen him gliding from heights of over 2m but he lands on tiles and lands pretty hard! Always hops off like it was nothing. Today we found some blood around the house, picked him up to have a look and he appears to have rectal bleeding. Has anyone had an experience of a glider hurting themselves on landing? Maybe he's just not so good at gliding yet. A hard landing with internal injuries is the only explanation we can think of for the bleeding. We've closed him in his cage for tonight to limit his movements (he's still quite active, if slightly less than normal) and will check on him in the morning. Any advice would be appreciated!
