Hey I was cleaning my gliders cage(old) and noticed some of the protective cover was flaking off (possibly some mild rust). I can't really afford another cage right now is there or is it ok to paint it with a rust proof paint? I have scrubbed it and gotten any loose stuff off and made sure there wasn't any areas that would cause him harm in the meantime#8203; and will check it daily!
