I have 2 joey's that i purchased from a group of the Pocket Pets which were selling them at the fair. We were told the boy was 8 weeks and then 1 week later we returned to pick up the female. She was however significantly smaller. I feel as if one if not both were to the ages we were advised.
I have been up to this point feeding them the pocket pets diet of glider chow, glider gravy and glider mins. However from the beginning we have had difficulties getting them to want and eat any of it, especially the gravy. I have been reading up on the other diets and i have a free sample of the critter love coming in the mail as of today and will be back in to pick that up as soon as it comes in. If they are more willing to eat the new food I am willing to try that. I do need a little more info though... can i just switch them over?, if feeding the salad mixes with the supplied diet, am I able to feed them other things on the side as a snack.

Also i am wondering if anyone can tell me if it is strange that my babies are still very jumpy. T Hey are letting us pick them up and come right out but.. if you try and hold them at all they just begin to panic. what can we do to help this pass?

for your last question.......TIME, as much time as they need. You just keep
doing your bonding stuff.

food. glider gravy is critterlove complete.
I would advice critterlove PLUS or OHPW. it is the NON instant version that needs honey eggs and bee pollen. our gliders love the plus version a TON better.

glider chow is Happy glider cereal from www.pet-pro.com and is also sold at
critterlove website. its is a good side to leave in the cage, freeze unused portion of product, leave in cage 3 to 7 days then throw out and give new. this is healthy product and good for cleaning teeth. but is not the main meal.

main meal is critterlove plus or complete with fruits and veggies.

THROW AWAY THE GLIDER MINS. the gliders can eat around it, they can get to little they can eat to much. critterlove or Ohpw has all the calcium they need (I was advised by some longtime owners on another website)

I feed my gliders yogurt drops and mealworms sometimes as a treat.

gliders tend to be jumpy animals, noise, fast movement, can cause any glider to be jumpy sometimes.
