Hey everyone,

Wasn't really sure where else to post this...

My fiancee and I just lost our first baby, she was only 4.5 years old.

It was entirely unexpected and tougher than I thought it'd be. If anyone has any advice for closure please feel free to share.

Also, I am worried her sister who she grew up with may have a hard time alone now...

Should we consider getting her a friend sooner than later?

Thank you all, this community always helps.

I think you can get a new cagemate or two, at any time you want too.
the big part is to read how it introduce gliders and do that right, that
will be the important part.

There is no terrible hurry, but yes I would. Female of course. All that really matters with the new cage-mate is that THEY get along. So if it is not terribly human friendly, well, keep the original one for that and the new one for her.

Perhaps you can find a rehome for no fees online. I find if you offer to take an unwanted Craigslist rehome for free, it can happen.
