My sugar glider glitch always licks me extensively whenever I go into the cage or pouch. She sometimes gets the other 2 to do it too. Every single time. What is this?

Ah that might explain it. My hands do tend to sweat a lot lol

There are a couple reasons why this may happen. You may have something on your hands that tastes good to them or they may be grooming you. Do you notice any over-grooming of their fur (signs include wet fur, bald spots)? As long as they are not stressed and it doesn't bother anyone, there's nothing to be worried about! My gliders tend to lick me a bit whenever I handle them. I just interpret it as a cute greeting.
