So I got my little baby at 8 weeks old and I’ve had her for about two weeks. she’s already a love bug and has clearly been handled as a wee one. I spend three hours everyday with her in the bonding pouch until she crawls into my bathrobe or sweater and sleeps with me. Wondering if I should be trying to pick her up or just let her get used to my smell and myself in general? Just wanna make sure I’m bonding with her correctly

being in your shirt with your scent is very good.

I would pet him/her (wear a loose shirt) while he is in your shirt.
Maybe you could try to get him to sleep in your hand if possible.
I would spend a few days doing this, then you can see how she responds,
if she will sleep or stay around your hand you could try to pick her up and
see how she responds.

at the end of the day, most gliders don't get held in your hand.
Most of mine crawl on my arms or shoulders, groom my hair on back of head,
while in glider room one will sleep in my legs while sitting cross legged.
I will put my hand down with him and he will hold onto my fingers.
at night I can pick up 4 gliders, one somewhat and one just says NO WAY.
but they don't just sit in my hand, they quickly crawl out and start exploring.

sometimes I will put my hand in the sleeping pouch and make them sleep with
my hand, usually several will groom my fingers.

Whenever she comes out of the pouch though she heads immediately into my shirt though

sounds like you are doing great.
you could try to pick her up and see how she reacts, if scared I would stop.
then maybe switch to having a treat in your one hand and work at getting her
to have to step on your other hand to reach the yummy treat.
maybe after a few days or so she will sit on your hand/arm to eat the
treat.
Just watch how she reacts, she should let you know if scared or not.
daytime she will be sleepy and more easy, night time away may be more alert
and scared.
