My male sugar glider was acting strange earlier today. He seemed very spooked midday for no reason and was scared of me and even the food I tried to hand him. He kept his tail up and it was a little twitchy. And finally out of no where he has a reddish brown spot under his chin above the stomach. It doesn’t look like blood. It is now night and he is calm and not scared anymore and let’s me get near him but his tail is still twitchy. There were no loud noises or anything unusual that could have happened. It’s him and two other females in a cage. They were fine when this happened. Finally as a side question I have noticed that he has been itchy lately and I don’t know how to go about this. He scratched like a dog does when they have fleas.
