Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the long post!

Three days ago I noticed one of my gliders was hissing when going to the bathroom. She was able to go both 1 and 2 so I figured she was a bit dehydrated. Gave her extra water and was acting totally normal. A day later I noticed she was doing it again but more pronounced then the day before and noticed her cloaca was very swollen out of no where. She was drinking and eating fine but I took her to the emergency room and they said she had an abcess. They drained it and gave me antibiotics and metacam for pain and swelling. After the first dose of the meds I noticed she was super lethargic and slow moving all the next day but was still eating treats I was giving her and drinking water I was giving her. This is now day 3 now and I was attempting to give her the meds and she's refusing them bc I think she knows it's the medication even though I am trying to mask it to give it to her. She won't eat the treats I'm giving her(tried to use those as well to give her the meds) and she doesnt want but she is still drinking water to an extent.

To make this a little shorter, I ended up bringing her to another emergency clinic today because I got super worried something worse was wrong since she's still lethargic and not wanting treats. The doctor gave her fluids and calcium and told me to continue the meds. They didn't think anything else was to be concerned about since she is still moving around and coherent even though she is moving super slow.

Has anyone experienced metacam or antibiotics to cause their glider to be lethargic and seem to not eat as much? I'm thinking because of the infection and them draining it with a combo of the meds is just a lot of stress on my little girl. I'm letting her rest now without bothering her till I need to dose her meds again. She has my other glider with her as always to keep her company I'm just still super worried and paranoid about the whole situation :(

If anyone can help me feel calm about the situation or give me any advice/insight it would be GREATLY appreciated :)

Will also add that the vet said her bladder does not feel distended or anything and her cloaca looks MUCH better after the drainage.
